Amazing!!! I never ever leave reviews but I am so impressed with this kit. My 5 month old is a real wriggle bum. So I decided to do this while he was sleeping. I used luke warm water so it didn’t wake him up when I stuck his hand in. I was nervous about having to keep him still for potentially 6 minutes but it dried in around 3 mins and he even moved a tiny bit! Hardly any bubbles and easy to sort those out when you remove the cast before it’s cured. Still need to sand it. It was so easy to do and easy to remove the cast too. I haven’t cured it yet or painted but I have a fan on it while it dries so it doesn’t go mouldy. I plan on doing his foot next! Well worth the money.

As far as casting kits go, this definitely does the job! The process is simple but it's important to prepare as the alginate does dry quickly. After mixing the alginate we submerged our clasped hands, waited approximately 10 minutes to be sure, then gently removed. After washing the cast with water we drained it, mixed the cast mix and filled it. Tapping the sides is really important to avoid bubbles. However our cast did have lots of bubbling on the back of my husbands hand. I have tried my best to remove these carefully with the wooden pick provided, a needle and sanding it. The kit is fantastic and it was really quite an emotional experience peeling back the set alginate to reveal our hands. The detail is incredible, as you can see in my pics, even fingerprint ridges! My engagement ring also looks wonderful. Take your time with the process and be patient. It's worth it!

Absolutely perfect product! Used loads of these before but this one set slightly slower which made it easier to manoeuvre young hands, although they were a little wriggly it picked up every detail perfectly. The kids really had fun doing it! The size of the bucket is great, big enough for four hands to fit easily! Beautiful results!

1st of all you have to use cold water which made my baby scream and cry, doesnt seem suitable for newborns. It turned baby's skin so so so dry as well. She squirmed and didnt want her hands or feet put in. First one didn't set properly and baby's foot came out looking like monster munchies. Did baby's hand and it was missing a finger. Thought I did something wrong so ordered another and tried again. Mould set before I got to put baby's hand in it, set a timer for 1.40 so I had time but it was solid by the time I got hand in. Feet came out crumbly. Spent £60 all together and have no cast that I want to have as a keepsake. She's now grown so I've wasted time and money on this mould. Could probably have paid someone to do it for me.

This was for my sons art project and as its not the cheapest I told him he had one shot at this to make it work. It worked a treat , followed the instructions to the T and it turned out so well. We did watch a few utube videos just to be sure. It did take longer to dry but he completed this in the coldest room to enable more time to work with the mould first. My electric mixer had died so instead we used an old blender i use for mixing paint and it worked a treat. This kit is great value for money. Top tips - cooler room gives you more time to mix without it setting Tap bucket to get rid of bubbles Give it plenty of time for the plaster to dry Make sure your comfortable first when putting your hands in the mould so that you stay as still as possible.

I think the kit is good - easy to use, pre measured powders etc. but ours was delivered without the paint or sandpaper or detailing tools, and one of the containers was cracked, all of which I only realised after making the first cast 🙃

Le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel. Le produit est facile à utiliser, à condition de bien suivre les étapes indiquées. Pour ma part, j’ai utilisé un batteur électrique et de l’eau très froide. Cela rallonge effectivement le temps de préparation, parfois un peu trop, surtout si vous êtes accompagné de personnes ayant des difficultés, comme ma grand-mère qui souffre de légers troubles cognitifs. Le temps de durcissement a donc été assez long. Cependant, je ne regrette absolument pas ! Le résultat final est magnifique : une finition incroyablement détaillée, avec des rides, des veines, et même les bijoux parfaitement reproduits. C’est un souvenir précieux qui durera dans le temps. Je recommande vivement, mais il faut être appliqué et minutieux.
